Investing in the Future
I will work to accomplish the goals set forth in the district’s capital improvement plan. Proactive and cost-effective investments in the SPS buildings and grounds will prolong the life of the facilities creating long term savings for the town.
Collaboration
I will aim to foster a transparent and collaborative relationship with all stakeholders including: the superintendent, town council, town boards, administrators, educators and parents.
Student Wellness
I will promote proactive approaches to ensure Pre-K-12 students develop the social-emotional skills to be healthy, confident students.
Professional Development
Supporting teacher-driven professional development and collaboration.
Civic Engagement and Community Service
I will work to expand opportunities for students to become involved in the community.
Alternative Paths to Success
I will work to provide students expanded opportunities to learn about and prepare for post-secondary career opportunities.
Sufficient Funding
I will strive to ensure that the necessary funds are available to provide the resources, services and staff that will support innovation and provide high-quality education to all students.
Revenue Enhancement
I will seek out opportunities in the district to help supplement cuts in state aid.
